Associazione Farsi Prossimo is an association working with poverty alleviation in the municipality of Varese, Italy. One of their programs, Riuso Solidale, involves redistributing goods to disadvantaged community members. In 2020, this program was facing substantial challenges due to lockdowns. In a context of seriously constrained budget, time, and resources, I designed and developed a classifieds website and tooling to keep their activities running despite lockdowns.

At Action10, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a social venture called SpellAfrica in Nigeria, which aimed to teach English to individuals to

improve their chances at finding employment. I supported them with business model innovation to ensure the program's sustainability, considering the financial constraints of the participants who could not afford tuition or supplies.

At Action10, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the Development of Former Child Soldiers (IDEFOCS) in Liberia, focusing on the reintegration of child soldiers. Unable to overcome the challenges of reintegration through trauma counseling alone, we engaged in structure and process innovation by instituting a Botanical Reintegration Village. This initiative was designed to provide essential skills for social reintegration, such as agricultural practices, in a safe and supportive environment.

While working at Bontouch, I supported Covra in researching and identifying opportunities to tackle the problem of appraisal bias in the United States.
